True or False: The '20-21 Pistons were the greatest tank job in NBA history. (Answer: True)
Tanking is nothing new that shit has been going on since Houston tanked to get Ralph Sampson. That's why they created the lottery system back in the day for those young fans that don't know the history. TRUST THE PROCESS took it to another level though and popularized it so damn much the NBA had to find a way to level the playing field on draft lottery night. I personally love watching tanking teams and believe in the PROCESS of it. Not every franchise is lucky enough to be like the Lakers who can consistently scoop up all the best talent decade after decade and compete for a title. Tanking and doing a successful rebuild is something any GM can do to become a contender if he's smart enough at evaluating talent.
