Who's In and Out of the 2021 NBA Draft

Final list of early entrants to the 2021 Draft

Updated July 19, 2021

The NBA released their official NBA Draft early entry list of all underclassmen, international players under-22 as well as college seniors who chose to forgo an extra year of eligibility.

353 players -- 296 players from college (135 underclassmen & 161 college seniors) and 57 international players declared for the draft.

The highest rated prospects to NOT declare for the draft from Big Board 4.0 were Arizona’s Bennedict Mathurin (40), Colorado’s Jabari Walker (56) and UCLA’s Jaime Jaquez Jr. (57). So, essentially, anyone with a shot at the first or second round declared for this year’s draft.

The deadline to apply for this year’s NBA Draft was Sunday, May 30, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The NCAA deadline for underclassmen to return to college is July 7th.

A significant number of players decided to withdraw their names at the July 7th deadline. The top rated prospects to withdraw were: Matthew Mayer, Marcus Bagley, Terrence Shannon Jr., Max Abmas and Johnny Juzang.

The deadline for an early-entry player to withdraw from the NBA Draft is Monday, July 19, at 5 p.m. ET. A number of international prospects have withdrew their names headlined by Croatia’s Roko Prkačin, Senegal’s Ibou Badji and Germany’s Ariel Hukporti.

I’ve organized the list by draft projections: lottery picks, projected first rounders, projected second rounders and likely undrafted players and have updated the list to show who has decided to return to school and who is still on the fence.
