College basketball is in full swing, and although the sample size is minuscule and most of the top prospects are playing against inferior competition, several of them are off to sizzling starts, while others are experiencing early season shooting struggles. There have also been a few surprising prospects that are raising eyebrows and attracting the attention of NBA scouts.
Every year there are prospects who seemingly come out of nowhere and burst upon scouts’ radars and draft boards after a few strong early season performances. While it’s still early, I’m looking forward to seeing who is this year's Tari Eason or Jake LaRavia. Eason and LaRavia went from under-the-radar transfers to first-round picks with a change of scenery and additional exposure.
Again, it’s still really early and the season is barely a week old, but I’m ready to discuss the players who have caught my attention for various reasons.
