Strengths:
Traore entered the year with lottery buzz—and for good reason. Coming into the season, I had him as a top-5 pick. While his pro season in France brought some uneven performances, the flashes of upside are still very real. At 6’3”, he has good size for a lead guard and pairs that with a lightning-quick first step. He gets downhill, breaks defenders down off the dribble, and creates offense. He’s also a capable playmaker, having led the FIBA U18s in assists.
