Nikola Kusturica has a legitimate chance to emerge as the No. 1 pick in the 2028 NBA Draft. He’s been a highly regarded prospect in European circles for several years, but his performance at this summer’s FIBA U17 World Cup solidified his status as one of the premier prospects but this time on the world stage. Kusturica already has an impressive résumé, highlighted by leading FC Barcelona to an Adidas Next Generation Tournament championship, Serbia to the 2025 U16 EuroBasket title and then to the championship game of the U17 World Cup.
