NBA Trade Buzz — Draft Intel, Plus Prospects Gaining Steam in the Pre-Draft Process Part II
Egor Demin’s shooting session, Cedric Coward’s rise, and what to make of Utah’s direction.
Yesterday, I published an article breaking down some of the draft intel I’ve heard over the past couple of weeks. And just like I said then, I want to be clear again—I do my best to stay on the responsible side of the rumor mill. I hear a lot, but I’m very picky about what I decide to share. I lean heavily on sources I’ve built relationships with over the years—some dating all the way back to my days as an unpaid intern with the Texas Legends. It’s wild to think about how many of us were just interns or video room guys back then, and now some of those same people are holding real decision-making power across the league. I also make it a point to double-check anything I hear with people I trust.
So with that in mind, here’s Part Two of the rumors, buzz, and behind-the-scenes conversations I’m picking up as we inch closer to the 2025 NBA Draft, now just under three weeks away.
