As Draft Day Nears, Speculation and Rumors Reach a Fever Pitch

With just one day remaining until the 2024 NBA Draft, trade rumors, draft buzz, and misinformation are rampant across social media and beyond.

There's already extensive talk about which prospects are rising and falling on draft boards, as well as those excelling in workouts and expected to be selected early.

To stay well-informed, I rely on the sources I've cultivated strong relationships with over the years.

Draft Night Uncertainty: High Stakes and Unexpected Twists

There is considerable uncertainty surrounding this draft class, and the drama could start with the first overall pick. Alex Sarr, the top prospect on my Big Board, refused to work out for the Hawks and reportedly prefers playing in the nation’s capital over Atlanta. All signs point toward Zaccharie Risacher being the first player to shake Adam Silver’s hand tomorrow night. However, Atlanta is thought to be weighing every option and sorting through potential trade offers.
