NBA Draft Buzz — Combine Invites and Behind the Scenes Pre-Draft Workouts

Yesterday the NBA announced the complete list of 78 players that received official invitations for the 2023 NBA Combine that will take place May 15-21 at Wintrust Arena in Chicago.

Consensus No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama and his teammate, projected first round pick Bilal Coulibaly, will not be in attendance because their season in France is still ongoing.

This big question is, how many of the invited participants will actually take part in the combine?

Last year, 40 of the 58 players in my mock draft released prior to the combine, opted out of the scrimmages and I predict the numbers to be similar this year.
