Mock Draft 2.0: Picks 15–30 Risers, Sliders, and First-Round Surprises
The stars live in the lottery, but the swings happen in picks 15–30.
There’s been plenty of movement since Mock Draft 1.0 dropped in early January. Conference play has reshaped the board, a few prospects have slid out of my first round entirely, and that’s opened the door for some serious risers to play their way into the back half of Round 1. If you missed yesterday’s lottery breakdown, be sure to check it out here before diving in.
Just like in Part 1, I’ve mocked each player to a team and, following in the footsteps of my brother Rafael, added my own twist on how each prospect could realistically fit with the franchise I paired them with. The top 14 may grab the headlines, but there’s real value — and real intrigue — in picks 15 through 30.

Burries’ freshman season started slow, but he turned the corner in game six and reminded everyone why he was a top high school player. The former McDonald’s All-American is averaging 15.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists for an Arizona team that remains among the best in the country.
