Flying Below the Radar: NBA Draft Prospects Who Deserve a Closer Look, Part II
Don’t Sleep on These Five 2025 NBA Draft Prospects
Back in January, I highlighted five deep sleeper prospects that I felt NBA draft enthusiasts needed to have on their radar. As we move into conference tournaments—and, for the lucky ones, the NCAA Tournament—it’s time for the second edition of Prospects Flying Under the Radar. This time around, I’m focusing on five more players who haven’t been getting the love they deserve from mainstream draft media despite being highly productive. In fact, some of these guys have been more productive than players currently ranked ahead of them.
My goal with this article is to highlight why I believe these prospects have legitimate NBA potential and should be on NBA radars moving forward.

Age on draft night: 21.2
I’ll be honest—P.J. Haggerty had to grow on me. He was incredibly productive as a freshman at Tulsa, averaging 21.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 49% from the floor, but I wasn’t entirely sold. His game felt heavily reliant on getting to the free-throw line, as he attempted a staggering 10 free throws per game. I had some reservations about how that would translate against tougher competition. However, after watching him this season at Memphis, I’ve come to appreciate what he brings to the table.
