Five NBA Rookies I'm Watching Closely at Vegas Summer League
Featuring a lottery pick, two prospects who slid out of the lottery and two unique, undrafted players
LAS VEGAS — A rookie class that might be better and deeper than advertised is off and running in the NBA’s various offseason leagues, including the main event in Vegas: the 2022 NBA Summer League, which I’m attending for the 10th time.

While this list could easily run 60 names or longer, here are five rookies I’m especially focused on as they try to become difference-makers for teams in contention for playoff spots and the NBA title:
