As the 2024 NBA Draft approaches, every scout has their list of hidden gems—players who might not be receiving the widespread recognition they deserve but possess the potential to make a significant impact at the next level. This year, five prospects have caught my eye: Kel'el Ware, Tyler Smith, Trentyn Flowers, Isaiah Crawford, and Daniss Jenkins. Value lies in the eye of the beholder, and each of these prospects brings a unique skill set and upside that I believe has been overlooked or underrated by the consensus. Here’s a closer look at why I’m higher on these prospects than most draft pundits.

Kel’el Ware
I'll be completely honest, I abandoned my Kel'el Ware's draft stock halfway through his freshman season at Oregon, where he often appeared disengaged and lacked energy. However, a year later, I'm back on the Ware hype train, perhaps even driving it, after his strong season under former NBA head coach Mike Woodson at Indiana.
