Can Nikola Jović save the international draft class of 2022?

Serbia's Nikola Jović is one the most polarizing prospects in this draft class. His passing at 6'10" makes him the top international prospect in 2022.

Serbia is a landlocked country in southeastern Europe with a population of a little under seven million people. Over the past few years, the Serbian national team won a Silver medal at the 2016 Olympics and has developed a reputation for producing high level prospects that are playing professionally all over Europe.

In 2021 the NBA (Nikola Jokić ) and Euro League (Vasilije Micić) MVP’s were both Serbian and developed under the KK Mega Basket system which quietly has more NBA draft picks than some top college programs in the last 10 years.

Jokić, Bogdan Bogdanović, Nemanja Bjelica, Boban Marjanović and last year’s media darling Aleksej Pokuševeski are all Serbian.

Next up is Nikola Jović, a skilled oversized wing ball handler that can do a little bit of everything on the basketball court with a game that fits the modern day NBA.
