Big Board 2.0: Cooper Flagg Holds the Top Spot, but Dylan Harper is Gaining Ground
Updated rankings reveal new faces in the lottery conversation.
Welcome to the second installment of my Big Board 2.0, where I share my personal thoughts and evaluations on the top 14 prospects for the 2025 NBA Draft as we head into conference play. This list reflects how I see the class shaping up at this point in the season, with plenty of movement from my initial Big Board. Several players have seen their stock dip, while a few unexpected names have risen from outside my preseason top 25 into legitimate lottery contention.
The list is fluid and will continue to evolve as the season progresses, with the remaining version of Big Board 2.0 set to be released in the coming days. For now, here’s where I stand on the draft’s most intriguing talents, from Cooper Flagg maintaining his hold on the top spot to Dylan Harper making a serious case to challenge him.
1. Cooper Flagg
Duke
Freshman
Combo Forward
6’9” | 205
Age on draft night: 18.5
Big Board 1.0 Rank: 1
Cooper Flagg remains the top prospect on my Big Board 2.0, but his lead is no longer as secure as it once seemed. He’s led Duke to an 8-2 record while leading the team in points, rebounds, assists, and blocks, which speaks volumes about his productivity. He’s also stepped up in some big games against Kentucky, Arizona, Kansas, Auburn, and Louisville.
