I am definitely on an island apparently cause I would have taken Ayo as high as Golden State last year and I'd still take him that high based on what I've watched. I'll never understand why he wasn't ranked higher by people? Being a Bulls fan I couldn't be happier how lucky Chicago got when he slipped that far on draft night. It's strange but he's actually better than I thought he was. I knew he could defend but DAMN he's already one of the best defenders in the whole league (no exaggeration at all)! He's being thrown on all the toughest guys from PG-SF and giving guys fits. Offensively, he's already shown he can hit a 3 and he's not afraid to let it fly (no hesitation). He just has to work on his free throw shooting everything else is just a matter of getting more minutes which he'll obviously get now with Lonzo and Alex out for months. Haliburton was your guy and AYO was mine. This is me patting myself on the back.
That being said holy cow was I wrong about Scottie Barnes and Franz Wagner. Both guys are already better than I thought they'd be.
